They Cut Into A Rattlesnake's Tail, But Couldn't Believe They'd Find THIS | xHots.Net

As it gets warmer, all I want to do is escape to the outdoors and abandon all of my responsibilities. But since this is obviously a horrible idea, I have to settle for what I can get, which are evening walks and the occasional day trip to a natural park. There are hazards no matter where you go, but when you're out with Mother Nature, there are some more unique challenges to deal with — mainly the wildlife.
I think we can all agree that a rattlesnake is not high up on the list of things we want to bump into while out for an afternoon walk.
Sure, they're interesting animals and cool to look at, but not up close and personal, you know? Just to admire from far away. Much like polar bears, hippos, and kangaroos, I'd rather enjoy the cuteness from a safe space.
Luckily, these snakes come equipped with a handy rattle for a tail, which they can shake 50 times a second to warn us to stay away. I haven't spent much time thinking about what it is that makes the rattlesnake's tail so unique. But when you think about it, it's really amazing.
So how does it work? Like a maraca, maybe? There would have to be something inside to make the sounds.
This father-son duo makes a habit of taking things apart to see what's inside, and they thought it'd be cool to take a look inside of a rattlesnake's tail. Don't worry, they didn't cut open a live snake's tail, they bought it.
